For the Weiss Residence, The Guild designed and fabricated a sculptural, blackened steel fireplace that anchors the living space. This technically demanding installation features a massive, hand-finished shroud with radius corners and a continuous hearth.
The project’s hallmark is its integrated retractability, utilizing a precision-engineered steel framework to reveal the hearth. In collaboration with 180 Degrees Design + Build, this feature demonstrates our ability to merge complex mechanical engineering with refined architectural metalwork.
